Piaggio & Figli offers a global service provided by qualified personnel to meet Client’s requirements. Global Service contracts on board of cruise vessels, tankers, ferry-boat and merchant ships in general can be summarized as follow:

Scheduled preventive maintenance with the aim of reducing technical risk and monitoring equipment conditions: on main and distribution switchboards, on L.V. and M.V. breakers, PAGA, F&G systems, ESD and automation systems.
Extraordinary corrective maintenance, such as during dry docks and cyclic upgrades: supply and installation of new switch boards, modification on board of existing electrical substations, supply and installation of communication, radar, CCTV antennas and control systems, installation of new power equipment such as additional main and emergency generators, motors, replacement of L.V. and M.V. power lines, supply and installation of drives and inverters for energy saving, F/O connections.
New buildings or major upgrades/conversions, EPC contracts for complete new electrical system from detail design, Classification Society approval, procurement, installation up to testing and commissioning.
Consultancy and technical assistance: improvement of energy efficiency and electrical reliability, surveys and issue of technical report and job descriptions.

Morever the Company fully equipped workshop and warehouse allow to face many emergency situation, since many electrical components required for preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance and repairs are available 24h, 7 days a week.
